As Secure Trust Bank Group’s Senior Enterprise Risk Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and strengthening Secure Trust Bank Group’s risk management framework, helping to embed a strong risk culture across the organization. Working closely with senior leaders, business functions, and specialist risk teams, you will ensure risks are effectively identified, assessed, managed, and reported, supporting informed decision-making and sustainable growth. This is a high-profile second-line role with the opportunity to influence risk governance, risk appetite, strategic risk management, and board-level reporting, ensuring the Group’s approach to risk remains aligned with its strategic objectives and regulatory expectations.
Job role:
- Lead the ongoing development and enhancement of the Group’s Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Framework.
- Drive effective strategic risk management, including risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting.
- Strengthen and evolve the Group Risk Appetite Framework, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
- Deliver high-quality risk reporting and insights to support executive committees, senior leadership, and board decision-making.
- Champion a strong risk culture across the organization through engagement, influence, and constructive challenge.
- Identify emerging risks, trends, and opportunities through proactive analysis and thematic reviews.
- Enhance risk management information, reporting capabilities, and data-driven insights.
- Support the delivery of key regulatory and governance requirements, including ICAAP submissions, annual report disclosures, and board papers.
- Collaborate with business leaders and specialist risk teams to drive continuous improvement in risk management processes.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including the Chief Risk Officer, Head of Enterprise Risk, Operational Risk, Credit Risk, Financial Risk, and Compliance teams.
