Join HESTA’s newly created Critical Operations and Business Resilience team and play a pivotal role in strengthening the resilience of one of Australia’s leading super funds. As Operational Resilience Manager, you’ll lead the development and maturity of HESTA’s enterprise operational resilience capability across a complex operating environment, including critical operations and material third-party providers. Reporting to the General Manager, Critical Operations and Business Resilience, you’ll partner across Operations, Risk, Member Services, and external providers to ensure HESTA is prepared to respond, recover, and continue delivering for the organization’s members through disruption.
Job role:
- Lead HESTA’s enterprise operational resilience and business continuity framework, aligned to regulatory requirements including CPS 230 and interconnection with CPS 220 and CPS 190.
- Develop and maintain business continuity plans, critical operations registers, criticality assessments, and crisis management arrangements.
- Partner with Risk, business teams, and third parties to strengthen resilience capability across the organization, spanning people, processes, technology, supply chain, and member services.
- Lead resilience scenario analysis, stress testing, and the annual business continuity testing program.
- Design and facilitate crisis management exercises, testing, training, and awareness.
- Provide trusted advice, meaningful insights, and reporting to leadership, executives, Board, and Risk Committees.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, creating clarity, capability, and a strong culture of collaboration.
