The UK government has released an overview of its National Digital Twin Programme (NDTP). This aims to help organizations of all sizes and in all sectors to develop digital twins.

The NDTP programme is being tested in real world situations through the ‘NDTP demonstrator programme’. This includes looking at how digital twin-related technologies and processes can assist with resilience through improving the ability to plan for and respond effectively to events; and through improving the ability to analyse, learn from, and adapt to changing circumstances.
