Resilience First and Deloitte are hosting a virtual session exploring the transformative role of artificial intelligence (AI) in enhancing supply chain resilience. The event, titled Using AI to build supply chain resilience, will take place on 2 July, from 13:00 to 14:00 BST via Microsoft Teams. Attendance is open to anyone with an interest in the topic.
As global supply chains face increasing challenges from climate change, geopolitical instability, and other disruptive forces, the need for resilient, adaptive systems has never been greater. AI is emerging as a key tool in enabling organizations to meet these demands.
The session will draw on Deloitte’s 2024/25 Global Third-Party Risk Management Survey, alongside other recent research, to examine how AI can be applied responsibly and effectively to strengthen and protect supply chain operations. Participants will learn how AI is being used to simulate disruptions, support real-time decision-making, and transform crisis training through gamification and intelligent tools.
The event will also address the importance of balancing AI automation with human oversight and will showcase practical case studies. Attendees will gain actionable insights, including how to assess technological resilience using the Resilience First Model for Organisational Resilience.
