The ISO ISO/TC 292 Technical Committee has started work on the next iteration of the ISO 22301 standard, which was published in 2019.
The new standard will be entitled ISO/AWI 22301 Security and resilience — Business continuity management systems — Requirements
The standard development process for ISO/AWI 22301 is currently at 10.99, which is the end of the proposal stage, with the project having being approved.
The next step will be the Preparatory stage with the following areas covered:
- 20.00: New project registered in TC/SC work programme
- 20.20: Working draft (WD) study initiated
- 20.60: Close of comment period
