  • Serve as a senior advisor to executive leadership, business unit leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders on continuity planning, crisis readiness, operational resilience, emergency preparedness, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Direct the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of business continuity plans, crisis management procedures, emergency response protocols, alternate site strategies, and resilience capabilities.
  • Lead enterprise crisis response activities during disruptive events, including executive communications, CMT coordination, business impact assessment, recovery prioritization, stakeholder alignment, and post-event improvement actions.
  • Provide 24/7 leadership support for incident response, crisis management activation, situational awareness notifications, and enterprise-level emergency coordination during critical events.
  • Oversee the design, facilitation, and evaluation of tabletop, functional, and executive-level exercises to validate readiness, strengthen decision-making, test recovery strategies, and reinforce consistent enterprise standards.

  • Advance program maturity by identifying strategic gaps, evaluating lessons learned, assessing emerging risks, integrating resilience best practices, and recommending enhancements to strengthen organizational preparedness.
  • Partner with business units, IT disaster recovery, physical security, emergency management, facilities, communications, legal, compliance, and external response partners to align continuity and crisis management capabilities across the enterprise.
  • Support physical security risk management, site resilience planning, and enterprise preparedness activities to ensure alignment with broader business continuity and crisis management strategy.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of business continuity and crisis management professionals by setting expectations, reviewing deliverables, providing performance feedback, and supporting career development.
  • Provide oversight of program resources, budgets, contracts, vendor relationships, and service-level performance to ensure responsible spend, effective prioritization, and alignment with business plan objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver executive-ready briefings, performance dashboards, budget updates, risk summaries, and program maturity reports for senior leadership, governance committees, and other key stakeholders.
  • Represent business continuity and crisis management on security steering committees, enterprise resilience forums, governance bodies, and cross-functional working groups.
  • Champion innovation, continuous improvement, and responsible use of enabling technologies, including AI and automation, to strengthen planning, response, reporting, and program execution capabilities.
